In the Miyazaki Music Festival we not only present performances by some of the world's leading musicians, but we also have a variety of educational programs aimed at sharing the wonders of music with the next generation of star performers.

May 21 (Wed) - May 31 (Sat)	Chamber Music Master Classes (closed to the public) Master classes for promising young performers from the Asian region taught by world-class musicians and educators. This year the festival's master classes are for chamber music groups. Venue: Prefectural Arts Center Events Hall Instructors: Pinchas Zukerman, Patti Kopec
May 31 (Sat) Doors open: 5:30 pm Class begins: 6:00pm	Open Chamber Music Master Class by Pinchas Zukerman This lesson is taught by Pinchas Zukerman, who, while based in Canada, is active all over the world. We invite you to come and watch the raw energy and passion for chamber music of this accomplished musician not readily seen in performances. Venue: Prefectural Arts Center Event Hall Instructors: Pinchas Zukerman, Patti Kopec Chamber musicensembles: one each from Japan, China and South Korea
June 1 (Sun) Doors open: 12:30pm Concert begins: 1:00pm	Performance by Rising Asian Stars (Admission free) The students from the master classes share with the audience the fruits of their lessons. Venue: Prefectural Arts Center Event Hall
May 26 (Mon) Doors open: 0:00pm Concert begins: 1:00pm	Musical Concert for Children This concert is held for elementary school pupils from throughout Miyazaki Prefecture following requests to give them the opportunity to hear superb music while still at an impressionable stage in their lives. Venue: Prefectural Arts Center Isaac Stern Hall Audience: 1,800 elementary school pupils from Miyazaki Prefecture Performers: Pinchas Zukerman, others Program: TBA NB: Applications may be made to the various Education Boards in Miyazaki Prefecture
